Yes. Sage Parlour operates as a private tattoo studio, and appointments are required to secure your session. Walk-ins may be possible depending on artist availability and time constraints, but cannot be guaranteed.

You can submit an enquiry through our booking form with details such as your concept, placement, size in centimetres, reference images, and your general availability. Once reviewed, we will contact you to confirm your appointment and provide any additional information required.

Pricing is based on size, placement, detail, and time required. A quote can be provided once your concept is reviewed. Small pieces may be priced per design, while larger work is generally priced on detail and time.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits help cover preparation time and protect against cancellations or no-shows.

We require a minimum notice period (usually 48 hours) to reschedule your appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice or a no-show will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

In many cases, yes. However, this depends on the age, condition, and texture of the scar or previous work. An in-person consultation or clear photographs may be required to assess feasibility.

Some areas may be refused due to skin integrity, healing concerns, or ethical considerations. Final decisions are at the artist’s discretion. We do not tattoo faces or genitals.

We do not apply numbing agents.
If you choose to use a topical numbing product, please apply it yourself before arriving and inform your artist.

Initial healing takes approximately 1–2 weeks, with complete skin regeneration occurring over 4–6 weeks. Healing times vary depending on placement, aftercare, and individual factors.

We will provide personalised aftercare instructions at the end of your session. Generally, this includes keeping the area clean, using recommended moisturisers, avoiding sun exposure, and refraining from swimming, picking, or scratching.

In New South Wales, tattooing is regulated under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998. The law states:
You must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo without parental involvement.
A person aged 16 may be tattooed only with the consent from a parent or legal guardian they must be present throughout the entire process, and the consent must clearly specify the design and placement.
It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 16, even with parental consent.
Sage Parlour maintains strict compliance with NSW legislation. Valid ID is required for all clients, and parental consent for minors must be verified according to legal standards.

Yes. Touch-ups for healing inconsistencies caused by normal skin behaviour are generally provided for free after a month of getting the tattooed. This period of a free touch up is available for up to 2 months, after this time period a small fee may incur.

Yes, We allow a support person depending on space and safety considerations. Please contact us prior if you wish to bring someone so we can confirm capacity.
